Great North Research Conference

QMDx attended the Great North Research Conference recently. This was the first conference organised by NIHR to bring together academics and commercial companies within the North of England, to celebrate their achievements and showcase their expertise to allow for collaboration and further successes. It took place at the Concorde Centre based on the edge of Manchester Airport, an impressive and unique space (where else could you listen to talks underneath a Concorde!). The event was well attended over the 2 days and consisted of plenary talks and breakout groups. These covered everything from patient recruitment to grant pipelines. Overall, a great and useful event.
